i love surprises

My dad surprised me with this beautiful Tiffany & Co. bracelet as a gift for my jaw surgery. I was completely surprised, mainly because this isn't something my dad does on a normal basis. The best part was that my face was still swollen and I couldn't really react so he thought I didn't like it. I can honestly say that I love it! This is one of the many reasons why surprises can be good.

My mom and I recently went to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, like we do every year. It's such a great sale! Thanks to all of my exciting purchases, I've been dreaming of colder weather and my fall wardrobe. I love summer, but I'm ready for fall! Anyways, I've been coveting these Tory Burch flats for a while now and I finally bought them, not even on sale. I'll post some more pictures of my other purchases later!

Earlier today, I had the pleasure of purchasing Alexander McQueen: A Genius of a Generation, written by Kristin Knox. The book has fabulous pictures of his collections, along with information about Lee Alexander. Even though this one probably doesn't compare to the one recomended by Vogue UK (Visionaire), it was a good investment. I purchased mine at my local Borders, but it is also available here.
